Yellowstone National Park

Ooooh, one of my favorite places!!  Yellowstone is massive, and beautiful, and filled with wild critters that won't hesitate to kill you (and, yet, people refuse to acknowledge the signs that say, "Animals here will kill you.")  I saw bears, elk, more bears, buffalo, LOTS of buffalo, birds, pelicans, deer, pronghorns - you name it, they have it here.  But, the animals will be a separate entry.  This is just about this beautiful park and its landscape.

The park takes hours to drive around and take in all the beauty it holds.  There are waterfalls, hiking trails, valleys, mountains, rivers and lakes.  Thank goodness Prez Grant had the good sense to sign a bill to make it the first national park 143 years ago!  It is a must-visit at least once in a lifetime!

"On March 1, 1872, President Ulysses S. Grant signed the bill creating Yellowstone Park, the first national park in the history of the world."

The flowers in the valleys were magnificent!

There are tons of waterfalls and streams in this national park

An osprey nest, built way high up on a rock formation.  It had both parents on it and an egg in between them.

Everything here bubbles, steams, or smokes.  What is going on underneath this place must be HUGE.  When this place eventually blows, it is going to be epic!!!

A bike-riders dream.

A petrified tree.  They had to put a fence around it to keep idiot humans from defacing it!

This guy was WAY into his Selfie.  He had not 1, but 2 cameras going!
